About me, Ingela Larsson Smith
I am Ingela, and horses have been my passion for as long as I can remember. Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with horses and their owners around the world—from demonstrating my skills at the Royal Mews for Her Majesty the Queen of England to helping Sheiks with their most challenging Arabian champions.
I’ve developed a unique training system called True Connection, which focuses on building a heart connection between horse and human. This approach is rooted in the natural communication of the lead mare, fostering trust, relaxation, and willingness. Unlike dominant training methods, I believe in giving horses the freedom to choose to stay with us and follow us because they feel safe, understood, and connected.
Helping people transform their relationships with their horses is my greatest passion. As a professional, I specialize in creating fearless, motivated, and connected horses, and my greatest joy is helping horse lovers achieve the same. I’m dedicated to teaching others how to develop a True Connection—a heart connection—with their horses, and I consider it a privilege to guide people on this journey to deeper trust and harmony.
